Running Zone's 2008-2009 Race Series kicked off Saturday, August 16th with the "I Run for Pizza" 5K in Windover Farms. A record crowd of 572 participants ran through the beautiful Windover Farms neighborhood.

Kyle Cooke of Melbourne crushed the previous course record with an awesome time of 15:47 as the overall winner of the race. Grace Kucera of Merritt Island took top honors for the ladies with a speedy time of 19:18.
